I have worked 41 years in a noisy environment that led to hearing impairment. Being a diabetic patient, I attend regular meetings held by the Diabetic Society. I had problems understanding what people say, not knowing that it was affecting my life. I finally stepped forward to Digi-Sound Hearing Care Centre for professional help and had my hearing aids fitted. Initially, I wore 1 hearing aid for a few years. But the result was not very good as speech was not clear enough and the environment was very noisy. As I felt very uncomfortable, I refused to put it on again. At first, I rejected and could not accept that I have to put on 2 hearing aids.
